Would someone please tell me how to adjust pressure or whatever it takes, on my (B) to make the pump lift properly? It kind of pulsates and has a chattering sound when lifting, takes awhile to get started lifting. The diff is full of fluid. I thought about removing the pump and checking for dirt but decided to pick a brain or two first. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

The chattering noise is probably the relief valve opening.
The pump is a bit more complex to just make a simple pressure adjustment.
My advice is to by an Allis Chalmers service manual for the B and C models and there are many pages to read about the pumps.

I had a problem with water in my old case tractor that made the lift chatter & not work well when it was cold. Drained the water out of the bottom and changed the fluid and the problem disappeared.
