Can someone help identify the carb on this D-17? I have a 1962 D-17 , and I need to rebuild the carb on it. I understand these came with Zenith carbureators, is that correct?

I found a tag on it that says
TSX-773
62 G

I think it is a G on the bottom, but it could be a "0"

Your local napa auto parts can also get the kits.

That is a correct carburetor for the D17. It was used on 1960,1961 & 1962 models.
It is a Marvel-Schebler.
Give Tony at Tony's Tractors a call for a kit.
He should have them in stock for that carburetor.
Really good person to deal with. Tell him Jeff Z. told you about him.

Best regards, Jeff Z.

That be a stock M/S carb that came on the D-17 of that time. Very common carb and also a common kit

Today's Featured Article - Major Problems - by Anthony West. Following the aquisition of the two Fordsons to my collection I found that I was struggling to move them about. I had considered the possibility of driving the "F" to and from shows but anything other than local rallies was totaly impractical due to its sedate pace. I had also considered buying a landrover and trailer, but the price of a ... [Read Article]
