what year model is this and what makes the left side wheels pull in the rear end, is it limited slip rear end?

Search back a few days. Someone listed a breakdown of serial numbers vs year for the D graders. Re your question about the rear end. There are no differential gears in the rear end of the D grader. Both sides are locked together so you do get some skidding when you go around a corner but it does make for great traction when you are grading. It is important to have all the rear tires exactly the same especially if you are driving on pavement a lot.

Jack, Are you saying that only the rear left tire is slipping and the other three are stationary? If this is true then you have some broken sprockets or broken chains making only one tire pull. Next time you are grading and it starts spinning check out how many tires are actually spinning. If all four tires are spinnning then you are ok. Like you were told it is most important that all four rear tires are the same size otherwise you will have the problem of breaking a sprocket or chain or worse.

by the way per the Listing someone posted on this site it is a 1952 model. Suggest you copy this listing and save it is no where to be easily found.
