Paulson (common here) trip bucket loaders were about $700 new in 1960, go for about 300 in recent years, but I"ve bought them for as little as $65- very unusual. If yours has a hyd bucket, that"s a different story- more demand and $ for them, but the WD needs additional hyd to run it. I think several hundred is still in the neighborhood for a trip- definitely worth it to me on my first one, considering the alternative hand work.

Given that info, the loader should be worth double what I said, and with the pump and drive, connecting stuff, reservoir, etc.- think about a grand. Duplicating it would easily come to that.

Today's Featured Article - Madison's County - by Anthony West. Philip Madison has been a good friend of mine for quite some time. He has patiently suffered my incessant chit chat on the subject of tractors for longer than I care to remember, and on many occasions he has put himself out, dropped what ever it was he was doing, to come and lend a hand cranking handles, or loading a find onto a trailer. Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects. ... [Read Article]
