1933 WC Front Tires

I need to replace the front tires. The existing tires are firestone 4 rib 6.50X16. The manual I have says they should be 5.50X16. The wheels are spoked. I would like to install tires that were on the original tractor. Does anyone know what tires I should use?

The 1933 Allis-Chalmers WC'S I'm familiar with had steel wheels front and rear. Could be the rubber tires on yours were a welding shop modification. That is not to say that Vulcanized,as they said back in the day, were installed or that Vulcanized was not installed at the Factory as that era was about the time Harvey Firestone was putting rubber tires on his farm tractors and trying to convince AC to do likewise.

Here's Picture of a 1933 AC WC with steel front and rear. This Tractor was for sale and was advertised as still having the Gas/Distillate Tank attached. Asking price $3500.00 .

John is right 1933 WCs had 5.25x17 tires w/a truck type tread pattern. Later WCs would be correct w/5.50x16 mono-rib or tri-rib tires.Kip

John, I am confused. Probably because I am new to restoration. The SN on my WC is 717; one list says this is a 1933 another list says this would be a 1934. My tractor has spoked front wheels with 6.5 X 16 tires the rear is a 28 inch solid wheel with tires. Maybe someone changed the tires/wheels at some point in time. Many aspects of my tractor match your photograph. I wondered what the threaded ports in the cast iron oil pan were for it appears they were used to provide oil to the wheel bearings.
