Temp Gauge for D-15

Hello, I'm replacing the gauges on my 65 D15 sII. I bought a mechanical Temp gauge, and I can't seem to find the port where I screw in the sensor?

Can someone help?

Follow the old cable up to the front of the head, like between #1 and #2 cyl.

D-15 Series 2 temp senser screws into the head on the generator side of the engine real close to the front.

I think I found it! It screws in from the top.
