I am still working on a G allis and I have a few questions.First one is where does the coil mount and second one is what color was the radiator originally ??

mine is just like joeM in the pic but it's tuned in line with the fan shaft not sure if it's the original position but no worries of wires getting hot and riding on the shaft when they settle I ran them under it but your tractor your choice

Thanks for the info !! the G I am working on has original brass well maybe copper radiator and it is black underneath the horrible brush paint job.

Dustin, Allis painted everything orange in those days.Most of the time they even painted the steering wheels. Most of the time now you will see the steering wheel,headlamp, starter,radiator and generator painted black. Rims were silver.

The coil mounted to the point where the instrument panel attached to the water jacket inlet.(pic below)
