I bought, for my boy, cause I had bought a B Farmall for my daughter, a WD AC, SER# WD 15036. Im told it is a 49. It was rebored to bring it up to 40hp. What was it hp origionally? It has perfect sheet metal and grill, missing the batt cover, and needs a better L fender, and has no lights. Sounds fantastic. Front end wobbles. Has cut out/over car tires, on the front, but, the wobble is in the steering box. Hopeing the gear on the steering shaft has slid back. Has BAD brakes. Someone put a factory 3 point hitch on it with a homemade center link attached to the tractor, and removed and possibly cobbeled up the mounting in back for the drawbar. He said he wanted a tractor with 3 pt hitch, so I got him that one. That is the first AC since the 37 dad had which he ran over my older brother in 46, that has been in our family. I had not thought of that when I bought it, or I probably wouldnt have bought it.

Yes, it is a 49 model. Another source of wobble in the front end is a worn bearing at the bottom of the spindle. They have taken a lot of hammering over the years, and develop flat spots. Should be able to find drawbar parts at a salvage yard or swap meets. Plenty of that stuff is around. Brakes are adjustable by taking off the access covers on top of the differential assembly. Linings are replaceable, but ofttimes the bottom pin is difficult to remove. Lots of help with that in archives here.
