I have attached some pictures of two Allis Chalmers B units. One is an IB as many would say it is (and a real nice ione at that). Now the other was at the pull in the same showand it was listed as a Allis BO. Never heard of one but sure there is one out there with time to make one I guess. I have seen other pictures that state their's as an Allis Chalmers BO but I'm not sure. If any of you have an idea let me know if AC ever made one. I have a multitude od ad's about the B but to date have never seen one in any. You would think that AC would have had that in their sale's ad's and such. If anyone out there could shed light on the BO great.

Fenders are for steel wheel B's. Basically a B fender with an extension to keep your hands out of the cleats.

Here is three other "BO" pictures. the last is a set of fenders unlike the standard B. I guess this may shed light on the BO tractor some more.

They are both IB'S. one doesn't have the channel on it. Note the angle of the steering column. A BO (probably homemade) is a B that was lowered, but the torque tube and steering column are the same as a B. BOB

I know a man who has one of these and I think he said it is a WF if memory serves me right. He was an officer of the Ohio Allis Club. I might be wrong. rw

'O' usually designates an orchard model, but would have appropriate sheet metal as well. I don't see any reference to Model BO in any of my books, but perhaps someone rotated the final drives to lower the tractor, and reworked the wide front.

They both look like IBs to me...
