Hello to the wise ones.
I know the rear hubs situation has been done to death in the past on this forum, but i need to revisit it.
Both my rear hubs are very VERY worn on the splines inside the hubs. Somebody here in the past talked about machining the inner face of the hub in order to get the tapered spline a bit further on the shaft. Can anybody remember how much was turned off the face? I seem to remember 1/8" but I am not sure.
Anybody help?
Thanks,
Rex

It would not hurt to take off what ever is needed to tighten the hub to the axle. Make sure that the axle has enough spline depth to work.
