First question is, does the 7060 have a "spin-on" Hyd. filter separate from the "cartrige" type trans filter? My parts guy had a listing for it but I can't find it on the tractor! Second Question, could someone tell me how to go about changing both the large and small PTO seals? It does have the 540/1000 rpm PTO. Do I have to drain the hyd fluid? Does the PTO slide/pull out of the back once you take out the bolts in the plate behind the drive flange?

It might help if you call your local AGCO dealer and get an ID and a password to go to www.agcopartsbook.com and you will get exploded views of your tractor it really is a great tool plus an I&T shop manual has helped me a lot. CT

there is a filter under the front on some i think for the power director and a cartrage type in the back for a powershift. the pto seals are tricky i cant remember for sure but the oil has to be drained. there is a plate under the pto geartrain. there is 2 seals a hollow shaft and some gears to deal with. if i remember right it is easy to wreck the new seal if everything is not held right on assembly.

Thanks! I did suspect the plate under the PTO was going to have to be removed and fluid drained. I am going to replace the cartridge filter assy for the PS trans with a modern spin-on type for easy changes and common/cheap availability. Just waiting on 2 fittings for the new housing. But My parts guy said there was the cartridge filter for the PS trans AND a spin-on for the HYD sys...a big 2 quart one I have in hand. Was this second HYD filter an option I may not have? And if so can I add it and where would it be installed? Thanks for the feedback!
