What parts are RC specific? Doese the ce engine bolt up to the wc clutch housing? Will I need to find an RC clutch assy.?

I have one now that"s been repowerd with a WC engine.

I think there was an adapter plate to bolt the engine to the WC housing. The front wheels are 15" on WC hubs compared to the 16" on WC.

The CE engine bolts to the housing, but uses the B/C flywheel. Hood and fuel tank, radiator sheetmetal is from the B/C. Differential has different gears, to give slower speeds because of the lower hp, compared to the WC.

The RC flywheel&pressplate /gas tank bracket/frt grill/frt engine mount are not the same as any other allis tractor

I have a '39 RC and a '49 C. Same engine, there is no adapter plate between the RC engine and clutch housing. Yes, the front grill is different- RC does not need the cutout for the steering arm. I have yet to pull the engine on the RC, so don't know for sure about the flywheel, but mine does have a starter ring gear on it, no starter. Would the flywheel/ring gear be different to match up with the starter hole?

Look at your grill looks like a small wc grill not a c grill. Yes the flywheel is special RC only.

Thanks, thats the answer I was hoping for! I think if I would have come across one 40 years ag, I'd have swapped engines, too. But now I'd like to return it to original:)
