I have installed a voltage guage on my AC B. As it turns out it is a battery condition guage.
This guage stays on about 12.5 with the switch off, turn the switch on and it registers no different. Crank engine and it moves to about 13.5 to 14. Seems to be working, but I question it staying on all the time. Other volt guages I have installed on different tractors parks to the extreme left with the switch off.
The B has an alternator and everything seems to be working right.
Any advise will be appreciated..... ..... ....

Cman,If you want you could wire it up to ignition on side of a switch. But the drain on a volt gauge is very minute,so it would take a long time to drain the battery.

If it isn't draining the battery I wouldn't worry about it. Hal

From the time I was a young boy growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, I would spend a considerable amount of time helping my father repair or rebuild equipment and engines, etc. on our 2 1/2 acre "spread". Pop always dreamed of having more acreage out in the country where he could retire and tinker as much as he wanted and often reminisced about his boyhood days on his grandfathers farm in Montecello, ...
