14 Mower Size

Need to get a 3pt mower that I can use on a D14 and 17. It would be nice to get a 6' to cover the tire tracks of the 17, but don't know if the 14 can handle it.

The mower would be a ruff cut and used to maintain trails and mow off food plots left standing over winter.

Thoughts? Thnxs jh

The D14 should handle it fine, and the D17 would "toy" with it.

I use a 6 foot exclusively with my D-14. Grass is not quite as thick here in Texas as it is in other places. It is, however, somewhat more like wire. The D-14 has no problem with the 6 foot. I never use the 6' with my D-17. It would be like using a post mall to drive an 8 penny nail.
