Looking at a C starts and runs very good 1958 has a seat on it that the whole assy needs replaced They say the engin has new rings it started right up after setting for 8 mos. looks like everything can be sanded and painted hood in very good shape tires are good What is something like this worth no nothing about Allis Chalmers need some feed-back on this Thanks alot Ric Tampa Fl

i have bought tractors like that for $800. and seen them advertiesed for $1500. I think the $1000. listed above is a good price if the tires and good and it runs nice as you said. If it has hydraulic pump/ valve on the right rear that is a plus.

This tractor says CA on hood but owner says it is not a ca just a c at first thought was a 58 but found a book that says maybe a 1950 cant read serial number to tell for sure What does a CA have that is different than a C? what years does a C stop and a CA start just trying to find some value on this tractor Thanks Ric

C has three forward gears, CA has four. CA has Power-Shift rear wheels- can be widened or narrowed using engine power and no jacks. C was built 1940-1950. CA from 1950-1958. Engines basically the same, but CA is governed a bit faster for a few more hp.

Update Just found out this is a 1948 C serial # C57926 Need to know what this is worth all looks good expect seat needs all brackets complete seat assy No rust on sheetmetal sand and paint good rear fenders no dent in hood runs perfect Thanks Ric
