WC carb problem

Just rebuilt our wc with .125 flat tops, head done. Rebuilt carb. It seems like it is not getting enough gas, it sputters when it gets a load on it in 3,4 gear, then clears up, load screw is completely out. If you turn it in, it starts to sputter and shut off. help?

Sounds like you missed something when you rebuilt the carb. Very easy to do BTDT more the once. Thing you could try that might work is pull the load screw all the way out, pull the drain plug and then spray carb cleaner into the load or main jet which ever you want to call it. Some times doing that will clear out what you missed

Could also be a fuel supply issue with the float not adjust corrected, fuel line restriction or a particle blocking a passage in the carb itself.
