has any one ever heard of a wc motor running for 302 pistons they are both the same bore does any one know if they will work?

the stroke is only 4.25 with a wd45 crank is there any way to get that much stroke

yeap theres a way to stroke the crank . a 5.8 with 7 5/8 rods would be getting close . most run bigger bore than ford pistons . ive heard of a 6. 250 stroke with 4.750 bore running around . 4 5/8 bore is common 5.5 - 6 inch strokes are the norm to.

With a 6.250 stroke or longer rods they could work.

I would think the comp. distance would be alot shorter than the AC pistons, might work ok with a stroker crank
