Hello Folks:

I posted a message a few weeks ago concerning the value of a D 17 at a upcoming sale. I got a chance to go look at it and it looks very good. It is a D 17 Series III gasoline. Wide front, power adjust rear rims with 16.9-28 BF Goodrich's on rear with probably better than 75% tread, power steering, and add on hydraulic remotes. Two things it doesn't have is the original seat suspension and the snap couplers. The sheetmetal is near 100% perfect with no dents(including side panels and grille), only the fenders needing replaced. It has the original manual with it.

What is it worth?

More like $3000 to $4000!

$2500-$3000. But condition is everything when they are 45 years old. So $2750 give or take much!

I would take a guess at around $1500-2500, if it was a series 4 it would be worth a little bit more

Today's Featured Article - Madison's County - by Anthony West. Philip Madison has been a good friend of mine for quite some time. He has patiently suffered my incessant chit chat on the subject of tractors for longer than I care to remember, and on many occasions he has put himself out, dropped what ever it was he was doing, to come and lend a hand cranking handles, or loading a find onto a trailer. Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects. ... [Read Article]
