Can't Take the Farm Outta the Boy | I was born in Kansas, and we lived on a farm out side of Tahunga. Things didn't work out for my parents, why I was too young to know, but my mother moved me and my sister to California so she could find work to take care of us. I always longed for the country and wondered what it would be like to have my own farm ? And as chance would have it I was to find out. The company I work for in California closed and I was transfered to the plant in Oklahoma. My wife and I bought a small farm outside of Sapulpa Oklahoma. I love it here and would never move again. I even bought a 8N tractor and am in the process of restoring it. So like they say you can take the boy out of the farm but you can't take the farm out of the boy. God Bless America's farmers the heart and soul of this great nation. Dan Osbern, OK, entered 2000-09-24 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
