Ten Feet Tall | In 1946 my dad decided we needed a Ford 9 N tractor after seeing one pull a combine he had hired to cut some wheat for us. The day finally came and I got to drive it home 18 miles. It's first job was to dig the basement for our new farm house. We had a rear mounted scoop and my Mother would about have a stroke seeing me come up out of the basement with front wheels in the air. I very seriously doubt I would let my kids or my grandkids do that now. My plans are to compleatly rebuild the 9 N after I quit farming. Shouldn't be too hard as it is in very good shape yet.
