In my very first tractor pull I was pullin' my Farmall Super C. I was as nervous as could be. I got on the tractor. . . backed it up to the sled, put it in first gear jus' like my dad said. Everything was goin' fine and dandy. People cheerin' but couldn't hear 'em. A Woman was talkin' over a loud speaker. Then I started playin' with my hair. . . although I don't member it everyone wouldn't stop laughing. I had no idea what was so funny. Later I found out that while the woman was talkin' she started laughin' and sayin' 'Now Mindy jus' stop playin' with your hair and keep that tractor moving. 'Till this day when ever I'm at a pull my best friend always says to me 'Now Mindy, just leave your hair alone!' Thank God I won that pull! Mindy , NY, entered 2003-03-13
