John Deere 40 | When I was a kid growing up in Kentucky, my Pop had a 1955 john deere 40. I used to set tobacco on a tobacco setter on the back of that tractor, then I learned to rake hay and bail hay driving that old john deere 40. Well my brother who has a 1938 case got me to go to a tractor show with him in Kentucky. I feel in love all over again. He found me a 1955 john deere 40 in Michigan and took it to Kentucky for me.
