Dual Purpose Tractor | Way back when I was growing up as a kid in the province, carabao has been considered as the most helpful animals in the planet since he is helping farmers to plow their ricefield during the planting season. After a few more years, tractors was introduced in our town and it became very popular in the neighborhood. Aside from making the task of plowing the fields easier,it is also used as a means of transportation. The tractors in my hometown are dual purpose since the farmers would usually connect a wheelcart to the tractors. So when the farmers have to do agricultural work, they can drive it all the way to the farm and it would also serve as carriage to their loads..My story is not finished yet...Will post another story soon. Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
