| The ghost |
When I was a little boy maybe 6/7 I was over at my Grandparents house. It was very foggy and I was looking out the window that faced my Granddads field, when I saw two white glowing 'Eyes' coming toward me. I ran as fast as I could over to my Dad and brought him back over to the window to show him and asked what that was. He said it looked like maybe a Ghost of some poor Civil War Soldier. Man I was scared as I stood there. My Dad wouldn't let me leave! It got closer and closer until I was near panic as I knew that the Ghost was going to get me. Then all of a sudden I made out that it was my Granddad on his old Ford tractor. It was painted Grey and blended in with the fog. Man I was mad at my Dad for teasing me, But he taught me a good lesson. Not to run away for your fears. To this day when I see one of those grey Ford tractors I think back to that day. I'm now 51 years old and have tried to teach that lesson to my 3 Sons and now my Grandson who is 7 years old. Wheelman, va, entered 2007-02-11
