Stuck Combine | Ohh Man, I was back here in Ks in I think 76 and we were in a field north of my grandads house, It was after a rain and the combine had half a load on it in the field, It got stuck in the mud, So,,,, My dad tried to pull it with the grain truck and old ford 600 six, It got stuck with a load on it, So,,, my Uncle went home to get his 3010 John deere, He came back with it and then he had a big nylon rope, well,,, He put the rope between the truck and the tractor, and the other rope between the Combine and truck, I stood wayyy back as that rope was gonna be taught between them all,my uncle was on the tractor, and the hired hand was in the combine I think, and my dad was in the truck, they all got ready, and then my dad said HITTT ITTT, the 3010 was spinning it's wheel's and the truck was laboring, and the combine was spinning it's wheel's too, they went for about 20 feet, and it got hard ground then they got it out, and the combine was out of the mud, ohhh mann what a site to see though, all three thing's were really smoking, and wheel's turning, But they got it out and thing's were ok from then on, no more cutting in the soft ground until it dried out, Kirk In Ks,, Ks, entered 2007-03-30 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
