|Shaw Do All|
I remember that in 1945 we bought a farm in Newtown, CT on which was this little green tractor. It had all sorts of implements, mower blade, plow and tools. I used it for all sorts of things. We moved to Norcross, GA in 1946 and had the tractor shipped to Atlanta by rail, then pulled it behind our old '36 Buick car, going at an amazing 5 MPH (or less). The gear box on the wheels fairly screamed. The Farmall Cub came out about this time but my Shaw Doall could out pull, out plow and out mow it all over the place. I pulled many a stuck car out of the ditch on our one lane country road. Wish I had one now.
