Hi James, I'm located in Central Texas. For years I thought I was the only guy in the state who owned an SC- but they are around... just not as plentiful as in other parts of the country. That's why I was excited to find these two at the salvage auction. The '45 is in the roughest shape- but the '49 I may be able to get running soon. After that, maybe I can figure out what caused it to be parked in the first place. To answer your question- I got both tractors (they were grouped in one lot) for $150.00. I only had to wait out in the rain for 12 hours of auction to get them that cheap, though! I knew that there was more than $75 worth of parts on each one, so I figured I couldn't lose. Since the wheels were adjusted all the way out, I had to hire a rollback wrecker to move them... so there went another $120.00. As Les noted, they are probably "basket" CASES- but I've got to at least try to see if there's any life left in the old girls... -Schotte
