We had flurries today. Off and on, light stuff, sun would peek out 5 minutes, flurries 5 minutes. Didnt amount to much, tho one period I lost sight of the barn, the flurries came down thick, big, and wet! Was a 5 minute blizzard!
Got up to 31 today. Should be a high of about 25 tomorrow.
Normal highs are 45 now this time of year here.
Doesn't mater if it snows or rains or not, the ground is froze, nothing would soak in anyhow for moisture. Winter moisture doesn't mean much other than the spring flooding when it melts. Our soil moisture comes from April rains.
Long term, we have had a lot of wind. Strong wind. Windy summers are typically drier here, if the wind continues.... Donno what we are in for. The experts say average rainfall, bit cooler than normal.
