Around here some put it in off the row with a planter, some spray it over the top before emergence, some put it on with a cultivator, and some pull a side dresser. All have their own advantages. Spraying it makes the herbicide a little hotter to burn down of estsblished weeds. The cultivator method makes for darn good looking corn though.
