This spring I planted 85-day non-RR corn. I planted the first patch in May I think, and another patch a few weeks later. The first patch is dropping ears from the husk. I planted it for winter feed for wildlife, but I doubt there will be much left by December. I'd like it to mature a little later. Do I use the last frost date and count backwards for a planting date or find a later maturing corn? I was very happy with the yield, in spite of so little rain.
