One thing I have learned in the 30 plus years I have doing hay you never count your bales till you have them in the barn. I have seen 2 or 3 bad years then all at once you get 2 or on a very good year 3 cuttings and all you know for sure is when you have it in the barn. Sort of like counting chickens before they hatch all you know is you have X number of eggs but how many hatch is a thing you do not know till you have bird in hand. That said this is the worst year I have ever seen
