Planted this field about June 1. Timothy, Alfalfa, Orchard Grass mix. It's doing surprisingly well considering the lack of rain. But of course it's loaded with weeds. It's been 60 days and I'd like to cut for weed control. The stand is not very high and probably won't rake very well. Any problems leaving the cuttings lay on the field? I don't think there is enough there to smother the growing plants. Any advise on this? Thanks in advance.
