Those holes are used for mounting loaders etc. Make sure you also fasten to the 3 holes below the hood on each side too so you don't break the casting that holds the front axle to the engine off. The rear bolts are 20mm with a #2pitch [fine thread] the front are 14 or 16mm with 1.5 pitch [coarse thread] I can check those to be sure.Most loader brackets have a bushing welded to them to fit in the big hole so the bolt doesn't support the weight just holds the bracket in.
