I have a super a and use the brushhog every week.
It is 5 ft, Iinstalled a overrunning clutch on the pto I have no trouble at all , probally the best small tractor ever built, with 2 hyd lift points what more could you want.
When I come to the end of a row to turn, I disengage the pto & engage when I get turned around,the ujoints do work hard on LH turns, thats why i release the pto.
The ujoints on mine do not have needle bearings in the cups so I have to grease them each time I use it.
: : I recall the discussion, in fact I asked the follwoing question at that time: "Do you have any problems using rear-mounted equipment with the Super A's 'offset' pto due to the angle?" I couldn't find the actual response but the answer was that there was no problem.

: Thanks John , I'll wait and see. I also wonder what is the best size for the Super A , 4-foot or 5-foot.I don't plan on doing a lot of bush hogging , just clean up after the fields are mowed . Probablt the 4-foot would be my best bet.
