I don't agree with that. I have five tame outdoor cats that live in the shop. They get all the dry food they want to eat twenty four hours a day. I lock them in the shop at night and let them out during the day. I call them in about dark and they are so full of mice they can hardly walk. About twice a week I will have to wait for one little girl to come in because she always catches a mouse on her way in and has to stop and eat it. They don't eat much of the dry food.
