Horsepower is one thing but lift capacity and the weight of the tractor should also be considered. I have a 3 bottom plow and used to pull it with my 75 hp 2 wd MF and my soil is what I would call medium. It worked ok with 350 kilogram front weight on flat ground and new tires but had no over capacity. When climbing a hill it was very light in front. It sometimes felt like the plow was taking over control.
Now I have a 100 hp 4 wd tractor and it pulls the plow by 6 mph with the engine running just idle and I sense no difference whether the front weight is on or not. A 4 bottom plow would suit this tractor but I am not sure about your 90 hp.
Most american plows I have seen on pics look quite short which would mean a lot to the lift capacity needed but especially if you have hillsides and clayish soil I think you will be better off with a 3 bottom.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
