Muleydoc: I worked for a dealer that sold them they where distributed through American Jawa. They also distributed Zetors tractors in the US as well. They where built by Kukje in South Korea. Branson tractors where the same thing. They where not a bad import but they may be hard to get parts for today. The Branson model 2810 would be the same as the Century 2028.
Kukje and American Jawa got involved in a law suit over payments and distribution of them. I think Kukje won and American Jawa declared bankruptcy.
Here is what tractor-data says about them: Century was a US trade name for compact tractors built by the Kukje Machinery Company of South Korea and distributed by American Jawa from 2000 to 2006. The Century brand disappeared around 2006 when Kukje consolidated its products in North America under the Branson brand and American Jawa moved to the TYM tractor line. Branson/Kukje assumed warranty and parts support for Century tractors."
I would go drive the tractor before even thinking about buying it. I hated how the controls worked and they handled. They where clumsy and crude. The engines had very little torque so you had to really run them revved up to do much.
If you have a hobby farm you would be better off to spend your money on a more farm type tractor. A JD 5210 or a Ford 3930 would be about the same cost or less and they are a good dependable real farm tractor that would be on the right size for your operation.
