I have the last package of steak cut up and simmering in water with beef base flavoring , a paste affair, on the stove right now. It will become venison barley vegetable soup. When the venison is 2/3 done add carrots, celery, green beans, and barley. Season with parsley, bay leaf pepper, basil. One quart for me and one each for the two neighbors.
