Some time back I found this cup in a box of miscellaneous dishes from my grandparents home. It was the cup my grandpa drank his coffee from every morning. It's been 12 years since he used it, but I think of him each morning when I drink my coffee. I spent a lot of time with grandma and grandpa as a kid when my mom was in college and my dad worked long hours. I remember grandma and grandpa getting up at 530 every morning and drinking there coffee in the living room and watching the sun rise through the picture window before going out to do chores. Grandpa always ate skippy peanut butter on toast while he drank his coffee.
