If the washer has the extra rinse setting, try it on there and let it cycle all the way through and see if this helps. Mine won't spin out worth a dern on the regular setting, but if I put on the extra rinse it works fine. I have just left it there for several years. Yeah, that uses extra water and electricity, so if it was used very much I would fix it. Also another excuse for not fixing it is where it is-it is hell to get out of where it is wedged in. If that ain't enough, I have other excuses too!
