I was hired by John Crawley of Kentucky to haul a tractor from Illinois to my home in Nevada. He was going to pick it up there and take it to his home in Portland. As agreed, payment was due upon delivery to my home. I delivered the tractor on April 12, 2012. It is now April 20 and I have not been paid nor have I heard from John Crawley since April 14.
Today, I heard from a guy in Portland, OR who hired John Crawley through UShip to haul this tractor. John gave him a runaround and told him the tractor was in Washington and he needed to get paid in full before he could release the tractor. The owner paid him. He then gave the owner my number. The owner called me and we are now working together to get his money back through UShip and press charges against John Crawley.
I hope this warning is read and people will take my advice. I've been screwed over by John Crawley and don't want anyone else to be.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
