Looking for my " Magic Wand " .....
You know ....
The one that " magically changes " the price of #2 diesel to 25 cents a gallon - the price of a tire to $5.00 - the price of an oil change to 35 cents - the cost of operating a vehicle & trailer to 5 cents a mile .....
The same " Magic Wand " that brought foreigners to this country that took away the trucking jobs
The same " Magic Wand " that took away the manufacturing jobs to the wonderful foreign countries ....
If & when I find my " Magic Wand " I will be sure to use it on those folks that believe paying 50 cents a mile to haul a tractor is " fair " or " better than nothing " ....
You know, those folks who typically have a helluva lot more money than other folks because they pay below cost for goods & services ....
Then they brag about how they got " such a good deal " .....
Those folks don't realize we all live in the same country - we all contribute to the economy - we all " turn the wheel ".
Those folks don't realize - care - accept that when you CHEAT a fellow person out of a decent living .....
You weaken this economy - this country.
If & when I DO find my " Magic Wand " ...
All those folks will magically disappear to Mexico where they deserve to live .....

What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
