You were lucky with that bridge. Several Years ago, a local county bridge(iron girder on concrete, used to be THE highway bridge) which had a load limit of 10t gave way. The local garbage truck driver didn't (WM) want to return to the major HWY to transition between towns and took the shortcut .... according to his official statement he " slowly crossed the bridge in the middle and felt "unusual" shaking. Looking back, he saw the sections behind him fold down in the middle and fall into the river.....3 or 4 in total"....LOL
