Good and efficient truckers group several things together and are loaded most of the time.I have had trucks we used commercially and hire most of our longer loads as it is usually cheaper if you fiqure your own time.Big trucks are usually cost near the price of diesel fuel per loaded mile.I just sent a tractor to Ind. and the trucker said he can make more with 4 smaller tractors than two larger ones.We are happy to pay $1/ $1.25 a loaded mile per tractor but sometimes have to wait a while to get a load that is grouped together.
