does any one here pull a trailer with trailer house axles under it? ive got a old heavily built trailer, that has them, with the 14.5" tires. we used it for a long time ,but always had trouble with it blowing tires, so it was sort of just used around the farm for hauling hay and things. is there a tire that fits these wheels thats really rated for hyway speeds? seems like we never had problems unless we were pulling it down the hyway,so im thinking that maybe the buildup of heat was what got them. or should i look at something else, the axles were cut when the trailer was built and shortened ,but they look straight and i see no evidence of tire running out of line.I need to move a couple of tractors, and my other trailer requires you to move wheels as far in as possible every time so i would like to use this one.but it gets expensive replacing tires all the time.any ideas/suggestions as what to look for?
