That is a good question. There are no commercial products available to do this with as I"ve checked into it. I've experienced the same issue with low metal roofs on cattle mineral feeders. What I've done is to take a treated 2x4, and attach it laterally to the end of the tin (on the underneath side) with the 2x4 extending out past the end by about 1.5 inches. I use a wood router to round the two exposed edges as well as the ends. This does not prevent someone from bumping their head, but it sure beats a cut. It works.
