MarkB_MI, According to the ammo MFG, they are 6 to 9 months behind (1917) lol. That will mean maybe by next year or two there will be 1 box of ammo per customer guaranteed, or your money back.lol. I hate suppositions to.Can't swing a cat without someone who heard something that might be true,or thought it was true,or used their education to suppose its true. Isn't that how we got into this debacle in the first place??? Even the reloading components are coming up short, Had a order of (100 brass cases) for 300 winchester on backorder for 3 months,still out of stock,and says maybe by April they will be in stock.Enjoy the wait people. Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
