Hi Guido , yes I'm about 2 hrs from Philadelphia, Pa . Its miserably cold here in Franklin, Pa. 16323 also . I went outside to feed my chickens today & was planning on doing some running around paying bills , but decided to get thawed out & stay inside . Its in the negative degrees here today with winds . I appreciate you keeping me in mind for future stuff . Not many in this area do much with restoring things , but still I never seem to be in the rite place to pick up throw aways when it happens . A couple yrs ago I did find a discarded old round BBQ grill made years ago of 1/4" heavy steel . So I built a nice forge out of it .So , I lucked out that day . Also one day at a guys house who was a refuse collector , I saw an old large anvil laying outside his house . Asked him how much . I got it for $25.00 . It needed a lot of building up with DC 1/4" 7018 welding rod to get it back to its original glory . It turned out nicely , & I've done some heavy forming on the welded areas with no failures to this day . So, I have had a couple good throwaways . So , thanks again for thinking of me . Maybe next time to Philly , you can contact me . My email is KCRISMAN@pa.rr.com if interested .later my friend , God bless, Ken

Today's Featured Article - Farmall 460: That's My Girl - by LeAnn R. Ralph. How many sounds can you think of that are as familiar to you as your own breathing? What about the hum of your refrigerator? Or the thump of your clothes dryer? Maybe the engine of your car? You hear those sounds every day, and you don't think much about them, do you. I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too. ... [Read Article]
