We have painted plywood floors in the converted barn where we live. I have tried gym-seal type products, latex and oil floor paint and I would say that any paint you use will get worn off in high traffic areas. That being said I guess most floor paints will work to protect the wood, they just will need to be repainted if you want them to look good. Zach
