Okay guys I am going to try to keep posting on how this welder works out since it is a good hobby/farm welder... I decided to buy red 2% tungsten 1/16 and 1/16 filler. Anyway when I got off work today and headed to the garage to try the welder out with the stick set up.. The welder is very small and come in a nice case. However when i got mine out there was something rattling around in it... I thought oh no here we go. Well anyway got the plug all wired up and plugged it in.. machine fired up but the amperage display wasn't working on the front... I was pretty disappointed at this point.. I called customer service at everlast and they asked how the plug was wired. They told me to switch the poles sometimes they have issues with that.. Did that still nothing called them back said they would send me a new unit. I would have to ship mine back and they would send me replacement in about a week,. Started giving them my information and they said they did not have me on their orders. Asked me if i bought it online from another source.. I said yes I bought it on Amazon. They said I would have to deal with Amazon then. They informed me Amazon is a wholesaler for them then if they have Issues they either send a new unit or fix it.. They said i still have same warranty just have to work through them.. So on the phone I go expecting the worst. Talked to Amazon people said it had to have been damaged during shipping and they said ok. Emailed me a return shipping label and Said they were sending me a new unit. I asked when i would get it and they told me tomorrow 12/12/12.. All in all I'm pretty happy with my service... We will see how the new welder is and go from there.... Sorry so long just thought anybody that has been debating this product my want to hear my experience...

He was a farmer by birth and a farmer by choice, and like many returning soldiers, he was our silent hero: without medals or decorations, but with a certain ability to survive. It was on his farm that I learned to use the combination hand clutch and brake on a John D
